Sakina and Massoudou are watching Noura and Nassirou preparing the scale. Sakina is the mother of 7 children. 4 deceased. One of her children has been cured by ALIMA. The other, Massoudou, 18 months, is currently cared for in his village. Massoudou has been treated for acute malnutrition and benefits from a monthly follow-up in his village thanks to the community nurse who travels from village to village on a motorcycle, accompanied by a local agent. This follow-up allows to ensure the medical and nutritional status of the children who have completed their nutritional follow-up. "ALIMA's support is welcome, we are satisfied, the program must continue." Nassirou, 49 years old, is the community health worker of the village of Dogon Mark�. In addition to this activity, Nassirou does gardening during the dry season and works into his field during the rainy season. "As a community health worker, I am very proud to work with ALIMA/BEFEN because it is an NGO that helps children to be healthier."
