This 90-minute webinar convened grantees from our mpox research portfolio to share key findings, methodological innovations and operational lessons, with invited discussants synthesising implications for future outbreak-responsive research funding. The session:
This event was a learning-focused conversation, reflecting on cross-cutting lessons from conducting social and behavioural science in the context of an active outbreak response. The speakers covered a range of topics including:
- How research was embedded within response systems
- How partnerships and equity considerations were navigated
- What enabled findings to inform real-world decision making
