This research is a user-centred exploration of preparedness needs with people with disabilities and older people in Mozambique for inclusive humanitarian response. The main objective of the research is to spotlight the voices and perspectives of people with disabilities and elderly people in Mozambique as active researchers of their lived experiences in a disaster-prone region. We conducted a participatory approach, using tailored and practical tools to uncover needs and to co-create opportunities for inclusive humanitarian action.
