This letter, published in Conflict and Health, outlines simple ideas to mitigate the impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic on refugees with chronic diseases, informed by an R2HC funded study in Jordan, led by International Rescue Committee.
The ongoing study aims to investigate and improve a community health worker based model for non-communicable disease care in a humanitarian emergency.
