Humanitarian organisations are built for crisis, often operating in volatile and uncertain environments. This work is complemented by Strategic foresight by helping us understand the systemic trends behind crises and identify innovative ways to address them. It enables a proactive approach that shapes humanitarian futures through creativity, research, and technology. 

By imagining different future scenarios, foresight helps us anticipate risks and opportunities, strengthening our organisations and the wider sector. The Futures and Foresight toolkit introduces a simple three-step approach: Explore, Imagine, Action. It uses established, practical tools and includes five ready-to-use Miro templates, along with additional resources for those who want to learn more.
