WHAT IS THE HUMANITARIAN NEED?

This project addresses the inadequacies of current water treatment technologies, which are not aligned with humanitarian objectives; resulting in expensive and sometimes ineffective relief.

WHAT IS THE INNOVATIVE SOLUTION?

The Inclined Plate Settler will provide a fit-for-purpose water treatment technology improving the level of service provided in a cost-effective manner.

WHAT ARE THE EXPECTED OUTCOMES?

We will be drafting one manuscript intended for a peer-reviewed publication as well as the dissemination of the final results in an appropriate conference (e.g. WEDC Conference 2016). Through these outputs we hope to share documented evidence from the field deployment of the Inclined Plate Settler.
