Simon Pickard
R2HC Portfolio Manager
As Portfolio Manager in the R2HC programme, Simon oversaw the relationships with R2HC’s portfolio of funded research studies and worked with the R2HC Funding Committee to manage our grant assessment processes. Simon previously founded the international development programme at The Waterloo Foundation where he managed a diverse portfolio of grants. He is a funding committee member for BBC Children in Need in Wales, and is a Trustee of the Welsh Centre for International Affairs (WCIA) where he helps oversee the Wales-Africa (Hub Cymru Africa) programme. Simon’s experience in managing grant partnerships helped R2HC funded grantees to deliver cutting-edge research in humanitarian contexts.
Simon has now left the organisation.
