Paula Gil Baizan has invested the last 20 years improving how we use innovation and technology to make systems work better for vulnerable people. An entrepreneur and systems builder, Paula has worked for some of the world’s best known humanitarian organisations developing pioneering approaches. She has also advised startups, private companies and non-for profit organisations on strategic foresight, transformative change and the use of innovative approaches to scale. She is a thought leader with work published in Forbes, the Guardian and other specialist blogs and regular appearances as a key note speaker and guest in podcasts.

Paula has served as the Chair of the HIF advisory Board since June 2021.
