Cordelia Lonsdale

Cordelia is Head of Impact and Engagement, leading Elrha’s integrated work across impact, learning, communications, partnerships and business development. She connects evidence and insight to influence humanitarian research and innovation, strengthen partnerships, and amplify learning to inform policy, practice and organisational strategy across the sector.

Cordelia brings extensive experience leading research impact, engagement and evidence uptake in the humanitarian and development sector. Her past roles have focused on strategic research communications and evidence uptake, policy influencing, stakeholder engagement, fundraising and communications for both international and national non-profit organisations. Cordelia has an MSc in International Relations and a BA in English Literature, a Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) qualification, and professional certifications in public health and quantitative research methods.

She is passionate about making complex research and innovation accessible and influential, so it can inform changes in policy, practice and decision-making, and loves finding the compelling stories that can catalyse the political will for change.
