Christy Connolly

Christy joined Elrha in 2023 as Business Development and Partnership Manager, helping to shape strategic funding opportunities and build partnerships that support high-impact humanitarian research and innovation. He works across teams to strengthen donor engagement, develop collaborative programmes, and ensure Elrha is well-positioned to drive meaningful change across the humanitarian sector.

Before joining Elrha, Christy held a range of fundraising and partnership roles at Oxfam GB, including leading EU partnerships and coordinating humanitarian programming in Bangladesh. He holds an MSc in International Development: Poverty, Conflict and Reconstruction from the University of Manchester.

Passionate about responsible change and people-centred collaboration, Christy enjoys bringing energy, curiosity, and connection into his work; helping teams turn ambitious ideas into impactful action.
