
Alexi Drew
Alexi is a Technology Policy Adviser at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where she has been working for over a year. She holds a PhD in Politics and International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London, and has multiple publications on cyber and related technologies and their impacts on global affairs.
She is passionate about exploring the ethical, legal, and social implications of emerging technologies like AI, cybersecurity, and platform governance. She advises on international norms and regulations for these technologies and their role in conflict prevention. Additionally, she serves on the Cyber Technology External Advisory Group for the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and mentors for Girl Security, a nonprofit supporting young women in security careers.
