This, dear readers and project stakeholders, will be the penultimate blog that I write regarding the progress of this project. The provisional version of the final report is now available :) Six months of hard graft have finally come together in the form of a PDF report, with 12 individual annexes. The report is ‘provisional’ at this stage, as it is being sent to an external editor and formatting whizz in order to produce the final, professional, snazzy looking version! That should be available by mid-March 2012 and a final project blog will accompany it. In the mean time, this version of the report is available for review.NEW_LINENEW_LINEThis report has been a labour of love (and, at times, terror!) for me over the past six months, and I would like to specifically thank all of those stakeholders and blog-repliers who have encouraged me throughout this project with keen insights and ideas related to remote project monitoring and beneficiary accountability practices. This research would not have been possible without you. I would also like to thank the Humanitarian Innovation Fund and those at ELRHA (Enhancing Learning &; Research for Humanitarian Assistance) for your support of the project.NEW_LINENEW_LINEI encourage all of you to review the final report and project annexes and to post any blogs in response to the research findings and recommendations.NEW_LINENEW_LINETo provide a taster of the report itself, the excerpt here is taken from the Executive Summary.NEW_LINENEW_LINEI truly hope that this is both an enjoyable and informative read and look forward to being able to share the final version of the report with you in March.NEW_LINENEW_LINEHappy reading.NEW_LINENEW_LINEAs ever,NEW_LINENEW_LINEBryony NormanNEW_LINENEW_LINEBryony Norman – Project Coordinator
