The last blog entry

January 2018
In October 2017, the MSQ Project officially ended. However, the whole movement for a field lab for faecal sludge treatment plant monitoring is far from over. The last couple of months were a bit less exciting and spent reporting, collecting, and compiling data. In fact, we are still working on some reports.
As already mentioned above, quiet times are not ahead. A full MSQ field lab has already been ordered by the Austrian Red Cross and is being assembled by Butyl Products. The International Red Cross and Red Crescent family is currently planning and building a field faecal sludge treatment plant within the Bangladesh population movement operation. The lab will be deployed (as soon as assembled) to monitor this plant and possibly other faecal sludge treatment plants in the area. The lab will be staffed by members of the development team.
With the MSQ Field Lab flyer we want to give an overview of the whole field lab. As the first lab is currently being commercially assembled, we can only supply estimated prices for the modules and the whole lab.
We started to consider the field lab as a kind of living organism. We have now completed the first version of the lab. We hope that with increased usage of the lab, feedback will be gathered. This will lead to a continuous improvement process.
As this is the last blog entry for this project, I would personally like to give thanks to several groups of people who made the whole project possible and gave great support during its duration. It is always easy to forget how many people are involved in such a project.
