Alexandra joined Elrha as a MEAL Officer in 2023. She supports with the fulfilment of a range of MEAL activities to strengthen knowledge sharing and learning across the organisation, so that MEAL systems and processes are fit-for-purpose to demonstrate impact.
Following a MSc in Development Studies and having worked in various roles in the international development sector, Alexandra has a strong understanding of processes, approaches, tools and methodologies that facilitate monitoring, evaluation and organisational learning. Prior to joining Elrha, Alexandra worked as MEAL officer at Plan International UK, where she led on the implementation and on-going development of monitoring, evaluation and learning processes and systems across a range of technical areas, including WASH and education.
Alexandra is committed to downward accountability where power and resources are shifted to local actors so that evidence-based knowledge and practical tools equip people and communities to mitigate the impact of humanitarian crises.
