Strengthening Humanitarian Innovation in Asia-Pacific Non-governmental Organisations

In partnership with the Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN), and funded by the European Commission Humanitarian Office (ECHO), the HIF is inviting newly formed and early stage partnerships in the Asia-Pacific region to submit innovative project proposals for a workshop to be held in Jakarta, w/c 29 May 2017.
The workshop will bring together up to nine groups to develop their ideas, with expert guidance based on the HIF’s innovation process, and further opportunities to apply for seed funding and Early Stage Innovation grants of up to £50,000.
Funding is available to attend the workshop, this will cover accommodation and travel.
Groups will be selected based on their understanding of the challenge they are seeking to overcome, the potential impact and feasibility of their proposed solution, how this will add value in the humanitarian space and the strength/relevance of their proposed partnership.
Applications to attend this workshop must be submitted by 17 March 2017.
