Ebrima Saidy is Chief Impact Officer for Save the Children International and is leading Save the Children’s Global 2022-2024 strategic goals for and with children. Ebrima has over 15-years’ experience in quality evidence based child rights programming, emergencies and youth development. Previous Save the Children roles include Regional Program Quality, Evidence and Impact Director in Asia (2018-2022) and Deputy Country Director and Program Development & Quality Director with the Somalia Country Office (2015-2018). Before joining Save the Children, Ebrima worked with War Child UK (2007-2015) as Country Director in Uganda. He also worked with Y Care International (2005-2007) and International Planned Parenthood Federation’s Central Office (2002-2005) in London. Ebrima is originally from The Gambia where he worked for BAFROW, The Gambia Foundation for Research on Women’s Health, Productivity and the Environment (1997-2001). He is also an Angel Investor in Young Black Entrepreneurs and he is widely published.
