In early 2021, our Research for Health in Humanitarian Crisis (R2HC) programme will launch a special funding call for research proposals with the potential to create transformative change to health response within the humanitarian sector.
These research proposals must address one or more priority humanitarian health evidence gaps, and be of sufficient scale or complexity to justify the high grant value. Grants will be available for between £1-3 million to support research studies for up to three years, from late 2021.
Strategic partnerships between researchers, including in the country(s) where research will be conducted, with humanitarian practitioners, and with end users of research findings will be critical.
We aim to launch the Call in early 2021. Sign up to our newsletter to be notified when the Funding Call opens.
We also hope to launch a series of funding calls for key thematic research areas in the second half of 2021 and in 2022
Specific thematic areas will focus on key priority gaps in humanitarian health research and will be announced in due course.
Sign up to our R2HC newsletter and get the latest news and updates from our programme, including information on funding opportunities.
