We are Elrha, a force for change in the humanitarian community. The research and innovation we support equips the humanitarian community with the knowledge of what works, so people affected by crises get the right help when they need it most.
Our purpose is clear: to empower the humanitarian community to improve humanitarian response. We make this happen by supporting and championing the outcomes of robust research and proven innovations.

This year we will not be able to launch our regular open funding call for humanitarian health research proposals.

The UK Government’s cuts to the Official Development Assistance budget have unfortunately resulted in reductions to our funding for the 2021/2022 financial year. We are working with our programme donors to determine future funding calls that we hope to be able launch in 2022 and beyond, and we expect to know more early next year. As soon as we have more information to share with you we will do so on this page and through our newsletters and social media.

Funding awards for successful applicants under our Annual Call 2020 will be announced soon.
