The Humanitarian Innovation Fund is a globally-recognised programme managed by Elrha leading on the development and testing of innovation in the humanitarian system. Established in 2011, it was the first of its kind: an independent, grant-making programme open to the entire humanitarian community. It now leads the way in funding, supporting, and managing innovation at every stage of the innovation process.
We are now looking to recruit 2 new members to join our independent HIF Funding Committee. The Funding Committee forms part of the HIF governance structure and provides independent assessment and recommendation of funding decisions. The Funding Committee is made up of 10 members (including a Chair). To find out more about the function of the HIF Funding Committee, please refer to the attached Terms of Reference.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are seeking individuals with an extensive humanitarian innovation background to join our Funding Committee. The ideal candidate should have experience in leading innovation projects or start-ups in crisis-affected countries, as well as strong understanding of the challenges and gaps within the humanitarian sector.

As such, we strongly encourage applications from individuals with lived experience of being part of a crisis-affected community, as well as those who can demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity and equality in all aspects of their work.
