Elrha’s Research for Health in Humanitarian Crises Programme (R2HC) aims to improve health outcomes by strengthening the evidence base for public health interventions in humanitarian crises.
The specific outcome of the programme will be an increase in the quality and quantity of collaborative research on recognised public health challenges in humanitarian crises, leading to improved health outcomes through cost effective humanitarian interventions.
The R2HC Partnership
The R2HC programme is the product of a strategic partnership between the UK Government ( Department for International Development DFID) and the Wellcome Trust, with Elrha overseeing the programme’s execution and management
R2HC is one of two programme areas managed by Elrha – an initiative that improves humanitarian outcomes through partnership, research and innovation.
