Published on 13/11/2017

Got an idea for an innovation that will make significant change in the humanitarian sector? Our latest funding call is NOW OPEN!

At the HIF we aim to support innovation in the humanitarian sector where it’s really needed. Through this Call, up to ten small grants of up to £50,000 each will be made available for innovations that address the following:

  • Problem Recognition – Recognition of a specific problem, challenge, or opportunity, in relation to the provision of humanitarian aid. These grants are open to any applicant.
  • Advancing Seed-funded Projects – These grants are for applicants who have received seed-funding from the HIF and are looking for next-stage of funding to further develop their innovation.
  • Project Diffusion – These grants are for previous Development or Implementation grantees, now requiring grant funding for wider adoption outside the original setting.

Deadline for applications 10 December 2017.

All projects funded through this call must be completed no later than 31 December 2018.
