Tearfund
- The Disaster Management Internship (DMI), which offers Christians interested in the humanitarian sector first-hand experience of relief work. After a two-week briefing in London, interns are deployed to a six-month field placement to learn the role of an Area Coordinator. Tearfund offer a living allowance of £200/month plus a benefits package for this internship, but stress that it is aimed at experienced managers wanting to move into the humanitarian sector, rather than first time graduates. On average Tearfund receive 80 applications for each internship.
